About Us
The Massachusetts suburban communities bound on the west by Worcester, on the north by Boston, and on the south by Providence have been served by radio stations on AM 1170 since March 1978, when John Quinlan, a former state senator, obtained a license to broadcast for WJMQ AM 1170. In the 1980s, the station's call letters were changed to WJCC. In the early 1990s, the station changed ownership, and the station became WDIS. Over the years, New England broadcast notables like Janet Jeghelien, Dick Sinnott, Chuck Burgess, and Gene Lavanchy have all been employed at the station.
Studio tours are available at no charge. Please contact us for more information!
