Coverage Area
The WDIS Coverage Area includes a number of diverse communities including suburban communities just south of Boston and north of Providence and the rural communities of Hopedale, Norfolk, and Blackstone where the WDIS signal is strongest. The coverage area is made up of almost half a million radio listeners, with a median age of 40, median family income of $89,145, and average family size of 3.11. The WDIS signal, on good days, can also reach as far west as Worcester, MA, and as far south as Providence, RI. WDIS is the only radio station directly serving and catering to the communities next to the Rhode Island border south and southwest of Boston.
